This painting is somewhere out in the world, yet I am not able to locate "Lady Slipper."   This is because I gave the painting to a friend with whom I used to work in Newtown, Connecticut in 1974.   Brian Bonfietti (its owner) got married and this was my wedding gift to him and his wife.    We used to work together at Lexington Gardens in Newtown, CT and I was his assistant.   "Lady Slipper" was one of my earliest pieces -- an oil painting on cotton canvas.    Possibly some day, I will locate it and provide more images here. It is unlike my other pieces, but I like it.    People have enjoyed matted prints and note cards (now) of "Lady Slipper."   As an incentive, I have decided (now on 7/17/02) to give a cash prize of $100.00 to anyone who can locate this painting given only this information.   Possibly the search could begin by way of the main office in Lexington Massachusetts.   Two other names of people who used to work in CT are Jeff Moore and the [then] manager Tom Johnson.    Each person may know where Brian Bonfietti might be today provided THEY can be contacted as well.
